A group of Missouri contractors in the pursuit of a common goal; preserving precious topsoil, founded The Land Improvement Contractors Association.
1941-1950
Contractors in other states take notice of the Missouri group’s success and begin to form their own LICA chapters.
1951
In an effort to organize and consolidate efforts to conserve the land and water resources across the country, a national association, The Land Improvement Contracts of America (LICA) was formed.
1959
The Nebraska chapter is formed
today, LICA is the fastest growing trade association in the industry
